Who we are
Beyond Nursing LLC is a healthcare staffing, consulting, and career-development company founded in 2023 and headquartered in Waldorf, Maryland. As an RN-owned small business, we serve both private healthcare organizations and the public sector, pairing clinical workforce solutions with the operational consulting that helps those teams perform.
The company was founded by Dr. Melani Bell, a doctoral-prepared Registered Nurse. Because it is led by someone who has actually delivered care, clinical understanding sits at the center of how Beyond Nursing recruits professionals, advises organizations, and supports every engagement.
Why we exist
Beyond Nursing was created to raise the standard for how healthcare talent and healthcare organizations are supported. Too often, staffing is treated as a transaction and nurses are treated as headcount. We were built to do the opposite.
